Susan (Cohan) Hoffman is the founder of GradStagers+, Inc. She is a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC) who specializes in staging college students and recent graduates for career success.
Susan has over 30 years of experiences in corporate marketing, career placement and various entrepreneurial ventures. During the first two decades of her career, Susan worked for medium-sized to Fortune 500 consumer product and service companies where she rose to the Vice President level in Brand Management and Marketing.
Always the consummate net-worker, match-maker and mentor, Susan was encouraged by numerous colleagues and friends to start her own employment recruiting firm. In 2004, Susan established RB/LB Search, Inc. and became a successful Executive Recruiter specializing in marketing-related positions. For 10 years, Susan was engaged in the branding and placement of middle management and senior executives, guiding them from resume building through negotiation tactics.
In 2014, Susan parlayed her talents in a new direction
with the launch of GradStagers+. Combining her various
professional experiences along with her passion for
keeping up with job trends and the Millennial and Gen Z
Generations (she is a mother of two Millennials/Gen Zers),
Susan helps her clients build their confidence and market
themselves to stand out in today’s highly competitive
employment market and digital world. She also regularly
works with out-of-state clients as well as seasoned executives.
In addition to being a CPCC, Susan holds an MBA in Marketing from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics from UCLA. She is also the author of the Procrastinator’s Planner, a humor-based weekly engagement calendar, which had a distinguished 8-year run and was featured in various media, including The Today Show as one of the top ten calendars for 2005.
Susan is also an involved member in her community. She is a mentor for the Manhattan Beach Young Entrepreneurs Academy, an active Patroness in National Charity League and a volunteer speaker who often talks to young adult groups on how to navigate the career search in order to make it more efficient and less overwhelming.
